Happy Halloween From Fred Flinstone AKA Vincent Alvarez

Happy Halloween! Today is one of my favorite days of the year, and although I never put much thought into my Halloween costume- this year I’m a snail made up of brown paper bags for shell and eyes- I still throw something on, head to Burnside in Portland, and get fired up to see all the skaters ripping around in their costumes.

This year, Vincent Alvarez dressed up as the classic Fred Flinstone and posted some Halloween footage of him ripping around his skateboard carved out of limestone rock with dinosaur vertebrae for wheels, check it out below!

Fred climbed out of his cave and entered his front yard, a naturally sculpted rock crevasse, the perfect landscape for a stoneage skater.

Happy Halloween!

A New Skatepark Is Nearing Completion in Enumclaw, WA

The entire state of Washington boosts some highly ranked skateparks; you’ve got Orcas Island, an isolated skatepark that’ll soothe any transition lovers soul, Marginal Way, a super raw DIY that is so beautifully crafted it pays homage to Seattle’s skateboarding community, and the Wilkeson Bacon and Eggs bowl, just what it sounds like.

The impressive lineup of Washington skateparks is about to have another top contender, located in Enumclaw, a town about an hour and a half south of Seattle. Grindline Skateparks is working on the new build and it’s nearing completion, check out the progress photos below!

The new skatepark is replacing an old park that sat in the exact location, consisting of prefab ramps that were on the fritz of their lifespan. All the transition has been poured for the new park and it’s awaiting the flatbottom pour and final touches before it’s ready to skate.

Dylan Jaeb’s new video part is here to break the internet

Dylan Jaeb doesn’t need any brand to put out his video parts—he just drops them on his own Youtube and lets us know via his two IG accounts (@dylanjaeb and @notdylanjaeb). For this video project, he went with his „not“ moniker and didn’t say much else. So let’s all let Dylan’s skating do the talking.

His board control is flawless and the music’s great. From Oceanside’s Transit to the ledges in Little Italy, this dude is all over San Diego County. Basically shutting all these spots down. We get a fakie flip down the big four in Copenhagen, but where’s the Wallenberg one? Coming yet this year? We shall see.
