My War: Rob Pace

My War: Rob Pace
A post from Meinholz got the wheels in gear for Rob to take down three rails in one rip. From landing in the wrong city, to an irate park employee and multiple return trips, Pace went above and beyond.

20 Million Dollars: Prize money in skateboarding over the last 8 years

When The Boardr started analyzing this issue back in 2015, women only accounted for 8-percent of prize money being handed out. Country-wise, Japan was taking home nothing! Take a seat and see what else Rob Meronek, Tim O’Connor and the Boardr boyz dug up.

„$20 million dollars: Rob dove into the data stack to analyze a decade of prize money earnings in skateboarding and how it evolved from women earning just 8% and Japan earning 0% way back in 2015. Following, that, we’ve got highlights from The Boardr Global Rankings changes from this month. Check the full video at our bio.“

A dissertation on rare Nikes and curb skating

He never disappoints, he’s aging like a fine wine, and every video part is a gift. Here’s Kellen James with his new one for San Diego’s Arts-Rec shop. Filmed vertically just for IG. Put your phone on airplane mode and dig in.

Spots you’ll most likely never skate and kicks you probably couldn’t get. We love KJ. Proper curb care!

Watch: This pan-European video with six skateboarders from different cities

SOLO summed up the genesis of this banger of a video in their own words on their site: „It’s been eight years since our last full length project, so it has been time for a new one. That’s why we reached out to Tania Cruz, Filip Almqvist, Schianta Lepori, Jorge Simões, Amelien Foures and Joscha Aicher, took them on a trip from Belgrade to Skopje (you probably have seen that one in our recent issue) and asked them to film parts in their home towns. The result is “Flute”, a combination of different skateboard backgrounds playing together the same melody. And after premieres in Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Belgrade, Skopje, Fazana, Barcelona and Paris the video is finally online.

„FLUTE is a pan-european project which showcases six skateboarders from different European metropoles in their home of choices as on a memorable trip to the Balkans. A video by Gino Fischer & Thomas Courteille featuring Joscha Aicher, Schianta Lepori, Tania Cruz, Jorge Simões, Filip Almqvist, and Amelien Foures“

Watch: Ishod Wair’s Chronological Order Video Part

Remember the Spritz and Destroy edit from 2020? With so much content hemmorhaging onto the world wide web, we don’t blame you if you don’t. Well, a bunch of Ishod’s clips didn’t make the edit (what?!). Ishod sat down and put it all together in Chronological Order. This is the result.

„Filmed by Matt Bublitz, Mack Scharff & Ryan Lee Edited by Ishod Wair and Tim Fulton“

On his own Youtube too, take that haters.
