Tony Hawk Skates the Official Skateboard That Took a Journey Across the Entire USA

Earlier this year a monumental moment happened when Chad Caruso skated 3,162 miles across the country, from Venice Beach, CA to Virginia Beach, VA in 57 days.

His mission was solo, just him, a backpack of snacks, water, and tools, and his trusty steed… his skateboard. Documenting his entire journey on YouTube, Chad quickly became a bright light for people everywhere, a Forrest Gump sorta movement if you will.

By the time his trip was over his board, the thing that brought him from coast to coast had some serious wear to it looking like rats chewed at the wheels for days and the board falling from a city skyscraper yet somehow not breaking.

Tony Hawk met up with Chad to talk about the board, his experience, and shockingly to buy the skateboard for his own collection. Tony even gave the thing a rip on his vert ramp, check it out below!

Josh Kalis‘ 25-year old video part: Sixth Sense Commentary

Hard to really nail down our favorite Josh Kalis video part, but this one from our sixth full-length video in 1998 is close to our hearts. It’s got the full, classic breakdown of LOVE Park, and it’s Stevie Williams‘ comeback part! So travel back in time when names were still in montages, the classic TransWorld 16mm sequences were compulsory, and see how these Josh Kalis clips have stood the test of time.
