This Coffee Shop in Rochester, MN, Has an Entire Skatepark Built Into It

Rochester, MN, is a larger city sitting on the south side of Minneapolis. Being in the Midwest, the entire state features some pretty cold and wet winters, leaving the skatecommunity with limited options during these months.

But thanks to a newlwey opened coffee shop, featuring a massive indoor skatepark and skateshop, the options for skateboarding in the winter just got a lot bigger. Check it out below!

The space is called the Garden, and inside the massive building is an extensive skatepark, great coffee shop with cafe food items, and a skateshop. There are day prices to use the facility or a monthly fee for unlimited access.

Check Out This Lost Footage of Micke Alba From 1986

MALBA, one of skateboarding ‘founding fathers’. Micke Alba made a notable stamp on the history and evolution of skateboarding, being inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2019.

He started his skateboarding career as one of the top vert pros from the late 1970s flowing into the late 80s, after earlier years of skating freestyle in the early 70s.

He has along with many others have chiseled out the pathway for vert skateboarding, and we recently came across some lost footage of him skating his qualifying line in the Sacto Vert Burnout in 1986, check it out below!
