Min Maeweather’s Skate Video Collection (2016-2022) Now On YouTube

We’ve been huge fans of Min Maeweather and the Daygo Dawgs since Jump. Min’s been cranking out the hits since 2016 with bangers like Channel 2 and No Good, No Good (some of the most fun premieres we’ve ever been to too!).

Now he’s collected them all and put them conveniently on a YouTube playlist. So cue it up and get inspired by some proper filming, editing and music supervision.

The football club collabs continue! Black Sheep skate shop and the Charlotte FC team are both pillars of their respective communities in North Carolina and recently teamed up on a unique collection featuring a sleek black and blue adidas Samba ADV and jersey featuring shop and club colors.

The Familia x Minnesota United FC collection by adidas Skateboarding recently dropped as well, and personally, I’m backing these skateboarding-meets-football club-team collabs. In a strange way, it just makes sense. Especially with the Three Stripes involvement. And most importantly—the gear just looks dope!

Grin Reapers Podcast Highlights Mia Kretzer’s Relentless Grit and Dedication on Recent Episode

The Grin Reapers podcast recently sat down with X Games gold medalist, Mia Kretzer to talk about her process when it comes to learning tricks, being the youngest gold medalist in X Games history, skating in front of Tony Hawk and so much more. We’re a big fan of Mia and this was a great look inside the mind of this legend in the making. Take a look:

The clip features some awesome behind-the-scenes footage showcasing the sheer dedication it takes to skate at Mia’s level—a rising star who hasn’t even reached double digits yet! Her progress is impressive, to say the least, and like all the greats, Mia has a few secrets up her sleeve.

Just wait until you see the little debate between Mia and her mom while she’s learning kickflip Indys—it’s a moment I think we can all relate to one way or another. Ha! Seriously, if you haven’t pressed play yet, what are you waiting for?

We’ve had Mia on our radar for a few years now and it’s absolutely incredible to see how far she’s gone from then to now. It’s easy to say „the future is bright“ for a lot of these talented up-and-comers out there, but no truer words have ever been spoken when it comes to Mia.

Skateboarding or not, the mindset Mia possesses can really inspire just about anyone who might be chasing a dream of their own to simply keep moving forward and never give up. It certainly works for her! To say her approach is admirable just wouldn’t be saying enough.

Shoutout to the Ward brothers and Soggybones skate shop in Western Australia, too! They’ve been supporting Mia a lot through this inspiring journey of hers and we’ve always been a huge fan of their shop and all that they do for the local skate community out there.

From competing at Tony Hawk’s Vert Alert alongside Arisa Trew, Ema Kawakami and other future stars, to landing a 720 in front of The Birdman himself, X Games medals and so much more, it’s been quite a ride so far, and this talented little ripper is just getting started. We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes in the coming years. Yeah, Mia!

Go Behind the Scenes With Paul Rodriguez At the Nike SB x Verdy Commercial Shoot

By now, I’d have to assume you’ve seen the fun, sorta bizarre, certainly interesting Nike SB x Verdy commercial hyping up the highly sought after ‚SB Dunk Low and Air Max Ishod by Verdy‘ kicks that recently dropped.

A nice chunk of Nike SB’s heaviest hitters were there during the shoot, including (of course) Paul Rodriguez. And Paul, being the productive YouTuber he is today, took us all on a little behind-the-scenes journey from the shoot. Take a look:

He might’ve forgot his board (ha!), but like the professional he is, P-Rod still got the job done. As far as shoot days go, this one looked pretty fun, actually. It was definitely more of a session than a shoot. Ishod was ripping. Dashawn was ripping. Paul was looking good. Pros being pros.

It only made sense to keep the good times rolling and head to Paul’s park after the shoot, which is exactly what most of the crew did. The ripping continued and these dudes genuinely put the new shoes to the test. Look at Koston out there!

Honestly, though—and I’m just being real—besides the SB team, I can’t imagine anyone else is really going to skate these colorful little furballs. They’re sick, don’t get me wrong, and I’d love to be proven otherwise! But yeah, I just can’t. I guess that’s neither here nor there, though.

Regardless, thanks for the BTS look, Paul! Just another day for these dudes. The life of a pro skater is still something to daydream about, you know? Oh, and if you were one of the lucky few who copped a pair of either Nike SB x Verdy, I dare you to do a kickflip

Aimu Yamazuki Rolls Through the LA Streets Putting the Newly Updated éS ‚Two Nine 8‘ to the Test

I sort of felt like I was watching an old 411VM commercial in my trusty VHS player as I was watching this clip, and I mean that in the best way possible. Smooth, stylish and effortlessly technical—Aimu Yamazuki shows us all what the newly updated éS Two Nine 8 model can do in the LA streets in this new „wear test“ video.

Call it a wear test, call it a mini-part, call it a commercial—whatever! Aimu rips and I love that he’s rolling around with a style of his own. The baggy denim shorts, the puffy kicks, the trick selection… I’m here for it. It’s an oddly refreshing approach in this day and age, but hey, everything that disappears tends to resurface sooner than later.

At any rate, I really enjoy watching Aimu skate. The dude is just dialed. And even though the Two Nine 8 might not be for everyone, those who can pull them off will be stylin‘ on us all when they’re stacking clips and switch mongo pushing from trick-to-trick during some lengthy lines. Plus, it’s just an iconic silhouette. The nostalgia is real nonetheless!

Fresh from the vault, éS continues to hit us with retooled classics for the new generation to explore. Looks to me like it’s working. Oh, and just FYI, that kickflip about 40 seconds in is a thing of beauty. Sometimes it’s best to just let your skating do the talking. Aimu clearly gets it.
