ÉS Footwear’s „405“ Accel and Short Film

Here we are, after a big summer of no FOMO, with you all submitting your best clips at a chance to win 5K. A lot of the entries definitely deserve it! Guys doing backflips at the concrete park, another one parachuting off a mini ramp in the sky (watch this!), Hollywood Martinez with a picture perfect frontside half Cab flip into a gnarly bank, Chris Moore rolling onto a sketchy motel sign—we got everything and more.
Entries closed earlier this week and we tallied the votes. Below are the Top 10 clips, in no particular order! These are the ones that YOU voted for. Winner will be announced next Tuesday, October 8. Thanks everyone, this was a fun summer and we can’t wait to make someone’s day with that 5 Gs.

If you’re not familiar with Japan’s outrageous KASSO skateboarding game show/physical challenge, take a look at their newest trailer for their upcoming season. All new massive, original courses, and a couple of pro skaters you definitely wouldn’t expect to see on a TV show like this: Wes Kremer and Leo Romero!
Catch all the action October 15 and 22, and while it might be hard to find streaming if you’re outside of Japan (episodes and future streaming they claim will be on their YouTube), keep a close eye on KASSO’s Youtube account for highlights and recaps. If this trailer is anything like the full episodes, this stuff should be entertaining!
Massive downhill runs, Ollie to Ollie gap/landing pads to get bodied on, and the final boss: Uzushio—which may translate into, „How the hell am I supposed to ride this?“

„You gotta be skilled at both street and park to get through this course,“ they mention in the trailer. Yeah, and maybe rock climbing and parkour too.
The „Tokyo Upside Down“ course at night looks to be the most diabolical. We can see Madars Apse and Leo Romero handling some of the obstacles here.
Beat The Gate looks insane. There’s a „huge cash prize“ promised to the winner. Then, just when you think you’ve seen it all, they drop the Rail Coaster on you. Jeez. Check out the looks on Leo and Wes‘ faces. Did someone make it? Or did they all drop to their watery demises? Tune in to find out on October 15 and 22.

Need some laughter this morning? You’re in the right place! Comedy legend Harland Williams sits down with Tony Hawk and Jason Ellis on the latest Hawk Vs. Wolf podcast and it’s absolutely hilarious. Harland’s unbelievably impressive dry sense of humor is on full display here and he leaves Tony in tears all throughout. Don’t miss this one! Press play:
Between his outrageous stories about skating when he was younger, classic stories that come with a lifestyle like his, hearing about his „board of the future“ and honestly, so much more, I couldn’t hold back my laughter (especially when these dudes are cracking up the entire time). I expected some funny moments, but this was more than I could’ve asked for.
His classic cameo in Dumb and Dumber as the cop who drinks the pee (remember that?) will always be a hilarious moment from my childhood, and his role in Half Baked is simply timeless, if you ask me. Those alone were enough to make me click into this episode, but Harland Williams has had countless incredible roles over the years, and to top it all off, his stand-up is phenomenal. The guy is just funny. Simple as that.
As always, I’m not going to sit here and spoil too much of the episode, though. Find some time to listen to these stories—trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
