It all began in the late 1980s as a small Skateshop located in Darmstadt Germany.

In the late 1980s, a vibrant skate culture was born in the heart of Darmstadt, Germany, thanks to a little Skateshop that dared to dream big. Bommys Skateshop, the game-changer that ignited a revolution in a once-dull German town, forever altered the course of our lives.

Bommys became more than just a shop; it became a sanctuary, a place where freedom reigned supreme. Here, there were no rules, no boundaries—only the boundless horizon of possibilities. We embraced the philosophy of „Do what you like! The world is Yours!“ It was our way of saying „F*** the System,“ a rallying cry for the rebels and the non-conformists.

We proudly dubbed it the Bommys Lifestyle—a way of life that was as rebellious as it was carefree. Unfortunately, in 1999, our beloved store closed its doors, but the legacy it left behind was undeniable. Bommys had not only etched itself into the psyche of Darmstadt’s skate scene but had also transcended city limits, leaving an indelible mark on the world.
