9 Year Old Skater Throws Two Massive 9’s Back to Back

I feel like I use to have a pretty good grasp on nearly everyone that was making big moves in skateboarding just a few years back. But as of recently there has been so much going on within the skateboard world that I just can’t keep track of whats happening, whos who, and whats what, which to be honest I kinda love how wild it has gotten.

Just the other day I came across a post that Tony Hawk made of a kid doing back to back 9’s on his vert ramp. I figured the skater was a teenager at least but after clicking on his page I found out he is 9, a 9 year old doing not one, but two 9’s back to back on the vert ramp? Check it out below!

This 9 year old, EMA, is actually the youngest skater to ever land a 900, in which he did so when he was 7. Impressed is an understatement.

Taking Nike SB’s Candy Corn Dunks for a wear test around Los Angeles

You probably already saw this Halloween’s Dunk offering from Nike SB, a candy corn-colored Dunk Hi, but now Tanner Burzinsky has filmed and edited a great li’l wear test video. And who’s got a cameo in it? None other than Eric Koston. Peep it for a sweet treat.

From the skatepark to the street, Tanner is one of the best young guns doing it, surely getting his name on a board in the near future. We love to see it.

Fresh footage of Mark Gonzales skating Shanghai, China

The Gonz—he’ll never stop. He’s still ripping, taking slams, making art, and traveling the world. It’s no wonder he’s still the most influential skateboarder of all time.

Enter this new clip from adidas: The Gonzfather is ripping those tasty mini Hubbas in China with a flavorful crew (most half his age, not that it matters). Check out the fun in the most-likely smoggy sun.

„Shanghai with Gonz, Mariah, Dre, Donta and Kotora.“

Pretty sick for that young crew to be skating worldwide with a legend.

Halloween at Burnside Got Fired Up

Every year on October 31st, skaters near and far make their way to Burnisde Skatepark in Portland, OR to celebrate the birth of this legendary DIY. This year Burnside turned 33, and its all out birthday party, celebrated Halloween style, was packed full of costumes, grinds, heavy music, and a quarterpipe on fire. Get a glimpse of it below!

Halloween at Burnside and Quarterpipes on fire go together like peanutbutter and jelly on two slices of Wonder Bread. And as soon as the fire appeared skaters swamped to it, throwing out front blunts and front side rock and rolls.
