Watch Now: Screwyard’s Latest Full-Length Video ‚BLOSSOM‘ Is Here

Feast your eyes on a fresh wave of rising talent from the Bay Area and beyond in Screwyard’s latest video offering, ‚BLOSSOM‘ filmed and edited by Will Riemer. Is your board nearby? This one is gonna make you want to go skate. Check it out:

You might’ve seen Jake Hofmann’s part over on Vague, but the entire video is stacked! With clips from Jake, Cam Szabo, Kyle Dunlap, Calvin DeBruler, Jimmy Cascio, Jose 6, and more, it’s a fresh look at this ambitious crew. With so many talented skaters out there these days, it’s harder than ever to keep up. But this squad is certainly making their mark.

The skating speaks for itself here, but I have to give a shoutout to Will Riemer, the man behind the filming and editing. This clip has a vibe of its own and sort of gave me a feeling of nostalgia. Maybe it’s Hofmann’s part? Sort of reminiscent of an old TransWorld video or something? I don’t know for sure, but I’m a big fan.

At any rate, if you like homie videos, you’re in the right place. Raw, hungry talent at its finest! Big ups to all the skaters and everyone involved here. We’re stoked to see what Screwyard hits us with next.

èS Releases ‚The Shoe That Never Happened‘: Limited Edition Muska Black/Royal

After 25 years, éS Footwear is proud to announce that the Black/Royal Muska is officially available at select skate shops worldwide. This specific colorway has sparked conversations for over two decades, and in true èS fashion, they dug into the archives and brought them back to life. Ah, the nostalgia is real with these.

„For over two decades, the iconic Rick Kosick photograph of Chad Muska sitting on a graffitied wall in Venice, California, has sparked endless discussion,“ èS tells us. „The burning question: ‚Did this Black/Royal Muska colorway ever release?‘ Well, the answer is no—until now.“

„The shoe that never happened.“

Whether your roots stem from this era, you’re simply a fan of this era, or one of the many new skaters who are assisting with bringing back big, puffy shoes to skateboarding, there’s no denying these kicks check all the boxes. One look at these and a rush of memories from such a special time in my life come pouring down.

One thing is for sure—these look borderline indestructible. The attention to detail is crazy, and when Muska is involved, you know you can always expect good things. „The Muska is more than a shoe; it’s a legacy,“ èS mentions. And honestly, I just have to agree.

Look for „the shoe that never happened“ at your local shop, but keep in mind, they’re super limited. If you want ‚em, you better grab ‚em fast!

Friendly Fire: The Spitfire Wheels Team in Colorado

From Elissa Steamer and Hayley Wilson setting it off to serious gnar from Pedro Delfino and Elijah Berle, this is a tour edit that’s worth every second of your time.

Denver, and the rest of the Centennial State, are rich in skate history and have the spots to match. The whole state is littered with big, concrete parks, fresh air, and usually some snow-topped mountains as the backdrop. Check out the picturesque to the heavy clips, right here.

„Throw in two sets of siblings, a couple lifelong BFFs, and Colorado summertime weather; you’ve got heavy family road trip vibes and the revs to match. Featuring Elissa Steamer, Hayley Wilson, Nicole Hause, Fabiana Delfino, Pedro Delfino, Raney Beres, Elijah Berle & Frank Gerwer. Video by Mack Scharff & Rye Beres.“

Elijah always delivers on the rails and hairy gaps and Pedro and Raney get it in the bowls too. What’s with the Vikings jersey in CO? Your guess is as good as ours. Fabiana gets fresh with a no-handed sweeper and a cowboy hat.

Some doubles action with Raney and Pedro, then Pedro closes it out with a wild Ollie up, 50-50 to 50-50 (with a bit of board bottom assistance?). Cool clip!

Stay tuned for Elijah’s glizzy burger at the end. You wanna know how he’s got all that pop and power? That might be it.

New ‚Skate Tales‘ Episode Sheds Light on the Legendary Peter Hewitt

From the daunting walls of Washington Street to the entire world, Peter Hewitt is unarguably one of skateboarding’s most legendary individuals. Balls to the wall, no stop signs, full speed, all or nothing—there’s truly nobody like Hewitt. He might stay low key in the grand scheme of things, but those who know, know

And those who don’t? Well, let Madars Apse and the new episode of ‚Skate Tales‘ take care of that for you. This might just be the best episode yet! Take a look:

Madars and Peter link up at Shockus Park in Ocean Beach for a quick roll before heading to San Diego’s most iconic DIY—Washington Street. From there, they cover everything from injuries and checking in with your body (something Peter recently learned to do at the young age of 50) to carve grinds, transfers, The Loop, warm up routines and more.

They end the episode with a mission to the legendary Nude Bowl (and have a helluva session), but not without getting a little deep and philosophical on the topic of, „What does skateboarding mean to you?“ Let me just say—his answer will leave you feeling a little emotional, in the best way.

For someone who has always been a huge Peter Hewitt fan, this is a video I’ll surely be putting on multiple times to find inspiration. And if I’m being honest, I mean that far beyond skateboarding itself. Hewitt is just an epic human being and yeah, the dude absolutely loves skateboarding. He’s the epitome of a lifer. They just don’t make ‚em like him anymore!

„You could go so far as to say that Peter Hewitt represents skateboarding’s backbone,“ Red Bull Skate writes in the description. „In a world where people like to push themselves forward, Peter is not competing in the attention economy. [His] skateboarding has been an ongoing quest on the edge of reason in terrain that even masters avoid.“

Facts. Thanks for being the guiding light that you are, Peter! Forever thankful.
