Zach Saraceno’s Raw Clips from the ‚GODSPEED‘ Era Confirm He’s a GOAT in the Making

Some dudes just always seem to be on. They’re few and far between, sure, but they do exist. And Zach Saraceno is undoubtedly one of them. There’s no denying Zach is bound to be one of the greats, but in case you needed a reminder, peep these raw clips master lensman Davonte Jolly just shared from the ‚GODSPEED‘ era. Bangers, bangers and more bangers. Take a look:

Is it all really this easy? No. Absolutely not. But Zach’s effortless style could make anyone think otherwise. He has a deep, deep bag of tricks in his arsenal and isn’t afraid to use them. Everything is precise, too. What else can I say? The dude is just fun to watch skate. Simple as that.

I guess when you roll with a squad like his, though, you’re bound to feed off each other. Ishod, Midler, Na-Kel, Neal…the list goes on. Their crew is oozing with talent and Zach is definitely contributing to the heaviness. Every time they’re out, clips are getting stacked. Just watch any of their video parts and it’s clear they aren’t just putting in the work, they’re having fun with it, too.

A Preview of the Limited Converse AS-1 x Nike Dunk Low Double Box Packaging

Have you ever seen a shoe box like this? I certainly haven’t.

The limited-edition Converse CONS AS-1 + Nike SB Dunk Low double box drops in select North American skate shops tomorrow, August 22nd. And while this heavy collab between these two footwear giants is impressive on its own, the shoe box itself is just as insane! Take a look:

We all know the thrill of walking into a skate shop (or really, any retailer) and picking up something rad. There’s nothing like tangibly holding something like a brand new pair of shoes, for example—feeling them, seeing them, even smelling them (don’t be weird). For me, that experience will always beat ordering online. But can you imagine the feeling of walking out with a double shoe box like this? Unreal.

For the folks who only have their eyes on one pair or the other, don’t trip—both styles will be available individually worldwide August 29th. But you obviously won’t get this dope double box! At any rate, hit your local shop, enter their raffle and cross your fingers.

Alexis Sablone did an incredible job designing these and the story behind their development is super cool. You can tap the post above to learn more. Nothing else to say besides tomorrow is the big day! Who’s copping these?

Did We Just Get the Daewon Song Darkslide Clip We Never Knew We Needed?

For most of us, the darkslide is more of a video game move than an actual option in our arsenal of tricks. It’s iconic nonetheless; one of those tricks that—if you can do them—sort of sets you apart from the rest. But seeing Daewon Song do them with such ease (on transition nonetheless!) is unbelievably satisfying. Check the clip:

//platform.instagram.com/en_US/embeds.js

„We all fear that first scratch on a new car!“ he writes as the caption. Adding, „Skateboarders feel the same way about griptape right? We all start to care less and kids always know best.“ And then he proceeds to terrorize a variety of different terrain on the wrong side of his board—ha!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been obsessed with darkslides. Have I ever landed one? Absolutely not. Have I tried my fair share of them? Sure. But there’s just really nothing simple or logical about this trick. And even if you happen to lock into one, whether on purpose or accidentally, getting out of them is a challenge in itself! They sure do look rad, though.

Leave it to Daewon to make them look so easy. Are we surprised? Of course not. Doing them on transition is next level, too. In general, the trick makes no sense, but when you take it to a quarter pipe (of any size) and actually slide them…yeah, unreal.

He’s sort of teasing us with all those random cuts on ledges, curbs, stairs, that random rock and everything else, but the one he actually shares on that QP is so good. And call me crazy, but the way the top of his board looks at the end of the video is also super satisfying for some reason.

It’s just a trick that I don’t often see, but when I do, I’m always stoked. Makes me almost want to skate a super flat board! But…nah. I’m good. Maybe one day I’ll land one? Maybe you will, too? Until then, I’ll just let Daewon do his thing. Fine with me!

Converse and Nike Come Together For First Time on Limited ‚Double Box‘ Drop Designed by Alexis Sablone

Well, here’s something you don’t see every day. Footwear giants Converse CONS and Nike SB joined forces for the first time ever on an exclusive shoe collection designed by CONS team rider (and ripping skateboarder/former Olympian) Alexis Sablone. Get a closer look below:

//platform.instagram.com/en_US/embeds.js

This limited-edition pack features a Converse AS-1 Pro and a Nike SB Dunk Low, and chances are you’ve been waiting patiently for these to drop! I mean, they’ve been teasing them for a while now—but the wait is (almost) over.

As some of you might already know, Sablone also designed skateboarding federation kits for the United States and Japan leading up to the 2024 Paris Olympics. We saw hints of the shoes around that time, but knew they still wouldn’t be hitting skate shop walls for a while. Well, the day is upon us! Now’s your chance to score this historic ‚double box‘ collection that Alexis worked so hard on.

She crafted the country agnostic kits and, subsequently, the footwear collection through the prism of a chameleon and the species’ ability to transform its skin in a nearly infinite number of ways,“ the official press release mentions. „Speaking to the ever-evolving nature of skateboarding and the individuality central to the sport. Skaters span continents, classes, and gender spectrums, and they come in all shapes, colors, sizes, and ability levels.

Both shoes will be available August 22 through SNKRS, Converse.com and select skate shops.

The Converse CONS AS-1 Pro and Nike SB Dunk Low will be available in an exclusive, limited-edition twin pack box (pretty rad concept, actually) including both silhouettes on August 22 at select skate shops and through SNKRS.

And if you just want one pair, keep in mind that both styles will go on sale individually on August 29, through SNKRS, Converse.com and select skate shops. GTWYC!

The Independent Trucks OZ Crew Tackles Perth’s Scorching Hot Terrain in Heavy New Edit

Kieran Woolley, Jedd Mckenzie and some of the Independent Trucks Australia squad recently spent 10 days conquering Perth’s scorching heat in this latest Indy edit.

Hot days, heated sessions and some seriously mind-blowing moments from the western side of the island make this clip an absolute banger from start to finish. Settle in and prepare yourselves to get fired up! Take a look:

The vibes are high in the land down under! Honestly though, these days, if you say „Kieran Woolley“ I’ll stop and watch. Simple as that. This kid is an absolute beast, but that’s not to say Jedd Mckenzie, Ethan Copeland, Brendon Cross, Cozza and Alex Stook aren’t adding their own fuel to the fire all throughout. Rippers!

That opening line set the tone perfectly. When the sounds of skating get you as fired up as the tricks themselves, you know someone is doing something right. Those grinds are borderline therapeutical.

And despite all the ripping, the fun times in between the sessions are a vibe of their own. These Aussies know how to have some fun and let the good times roll. It might be a scorching hot West Oz summer, but this squad clearly made the most of these 10 days. Yeah, mates! Nailed it.
