Sky Brown Absolutely Shines in New ‚Pogo Plus‘ Video Part for Nike SB

Sky Brown has been on an absolute tear the past few years and the crazy thing is, she’s only getting started. To celebrate her new Nike SB Pogo Plus colorway, Sky and the Swoosh just dropped a new video part and let me just say, she is clearly on top of her game right now. Take a look:

Sky’s plate is looking pretty full for the rest of the year with the Paris Olympics on the horizon, filming missions on the calendar and rallying for her new Nike SB colorway. No sweat for this ripper, though. And is it me, or does her style just keep getting stronger by the day?

We’re stoked to see Sky reaching the heights she’s been reaching lately. She deserves it all. I can still remember her and her brother skating the old TWS park a few years back, and even then, it was clear she was the real deal. The future was bright then and remains bright to this day.

Like Nike mentioned in the caption, „All Sky. No ceilings.“ Facts.

The Nike SB Pogo Plus by Sky Brown drops in select skate shops and Nike.com tomorrow (Friday, June 14). They look sick, too! Keep ripping, Sky. We see you.

Look back at the Iconic ‚The Chocolate Tour‘ Video as Chocolate Celebrates 25 Years of Its Release

In the summer of 1999, the Chocolate team embarked on a classic skate tour across the US and came back with a timeless video that multiple generations of skaters have been inspired by ever since. 25 years later, some of these clips have clearly stood the test of time.

If you’ve never seen this video, well, you’re in luck! Carve out some time and dive in. Some things never get old, and this video—from the skating, skits and squad just in general—is certainly proof of that notion.

“The Chocolate Tour” premiered on June 11, 1999 at the Directors Guild in Hollywood in front of an absolutely packed house. Maybe you were there? And like many (Every? Most?) of the videos this camp produces, it became an instant classic.

Far from your average „tour video“ the Choclate crew has this to say:

„It’s the summer of 1999 and what the Chocolate team thinks will be a normal skateboarding tour across the USA, turns into a race against time with a new set of rules… Brushes with the law, forgery and fraud are just a few of the startling mis-adventures the Chocolate Brotherhood have on their way to saving the only other family they’ve ever known – the Girl team. Armed with a healthy respect for their elders, and a strong sense of camaraderie, the Chocolate team faces the overwhelming responsibility of being the last hope for their Girl brothers… or are they?“

Personally, I’ve always loved this video… but I am a huge fan of tour videos. It’s just fun to see everything—not just clip after clip after clip. Highly entertaining, heavily inspiring, let’s all revisit (or uncover, depending on who you are) this classic skate video and help the Chocolate squad celebrate 25 years of an absolute classic.

25 years!? Wow. Let that soak in however you need to. This crew and this era is simply legendary. I’ll have this on repeat the rest of the week.

Watch: Primitive Just Dropped Kyonosuke Yamashita’s Unmastered ‚DAYDREAM‘ Clips

Kyonosuke Yamashita is a force to be reckoned with and in case you’re wondering why, just peep the video below. Primitive released just under 20 minutes of his raw ‚DAYDREAM‘ clips and it’s like we’re there on the sessions with him. Take a look:

Someone commented, „We need more of this. Not always the same tricks over and over again. He’s a creative skate machine,“ and I just have to agree. I’m a big fan of raw clips and will always enjoy getting to witness the process of these bangers that get so effortlessly dished out. These dudes aren’t messing around.

Kyonosuke’s footage in ‚DAYDREAM‘ was top shelf. Something tells me this hungry up-and-comer will have his name on a board soon enough, but only time will tell. If you haven’t seen ‚DAYDREAM‘ peep it below. Kyonosuke, Filipe Mota, and Dylan Jaeb each proved that they’re on the frontlines of this new wave of heavy hitters.

Really, though… find the time to watch these raw clips and we’ll see you in about 20 minutes. Then you should watch ‚DAYDREAM‘ in its entirety and really feel the stoke.
