Heitor Da Silva Absolutely Shines in adidas Skateboarding’s New Video ‚HEJTOR‘

Long, flowing lines. Spots that make you say, „Whaaattt!?“ And a bag of tricks to keep the knot tight—Heitor Da Silva and Tor Ström (behind the lens) absolutely came through in support of Heitor’s latest adidas Skateboarding ProShell.

Give him a crusty DIY slab, some spacious plazas and every little nook and cranny in between… Heitor will produce. Things start out heavy enough but they heat up pretty quickly. The man can do it all. Press play and dive in. These dudes nailed it!

He makes some of that gritty ground look like he’s rolling on marble, right? There isn’t a single sleeper clip in here! Heitor has been on a roll lately and this part is such a good representation of his natural talent. He’s just one of those guys that are super fun to watch skate. Simple as that. Even his slams look graceful!

Also, that little night section is way too sick. It genuinely makes you want to get some lights and hit the streets with your squad. I’ve always been a fan of night footy and this certainly doesn’t disappoint. Day and night, Heitor provides.

As far as the shoes are concerned, the general consensus is extremely positive.

„With all the durability of the Superstar, but with improved stability through a mid-top cut and Velcro strap closure, it was a given that Heitor flocked toward this timeless model,“ says adidas in the caption.

What do you guys think? All I know is these things look tough as nails! I have to assume they will truly last forever. Look for them at your local shop or find them online on the adidas website.

Tor Ström did a fantastic job filming and editing this clip, too. Teamwork makes the dream work and these two definitely came through. It’s a super diverse part… again, the man can do it all. Big fan. Cop the kicks and keep this part on repeat all week!

Ishod Wair’s Raw ‚GODSPEED‘ Clips Prove He’s Simply Built Different

Davonte Jolly recently hopped on YouTube to share just under 20 minutes of raw Ishod Wair clips from the GODSPEED era, and let me just say, they’re absolutely bonkers. I mean, we all know Ishod is built different… but a little reminder like this never hurts. Settle in and press play.

I personally love raw clips. It gives us an extra little peek-a-boo look inside these heavy sessions. And really, it offers up a little more of the skater’s personality all the same. Seeing how cool and calm Ishod remains during some of these battles is something to see. A true professional.

At the same time… these dudes are just out there having fun during every session—while stacking banger after banger. The amount of times he does some of these tricks blows my mind. The majority of us would be happy with any of those makes, but again, that’s what separates the best from the rest.

Let’s be honest, though… this dude basically has this whole skateboarding thing down to a science at this point. I’m not saying he doesn’t have to try, but his effortless style says more than any words ever could. He’s not trying to make most of these tricks look easy—I’m just convinced that, to him, they simply are.

Ishod is one of the best to ever do it and everything he puts out is pure gold. The dude deserves everything he has and the best part is… he’s still just getting started. If these clips don’t make you want to skate, you better get your eyes fixed!

Lakai’s New Collab With Cuba Skate Takes Them to the Streets of Havana and an Epic DIY Build

Lakai’s new collaboration with their friends at Cuba Skate (a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Havana, Cuba) is available now and to hype it up, they sent James Capps, Vincent Alvarez, and Cody Chapman out to rip the streets of Havana and hang with the locals. Take a look:

The spots they skate are epic. The soundtrack is on point. The vibes are high! Looks to me like these dudes had a great time out there. And the fact that they all mixed up some cement and put in work at Cuba Skate’s ongoing DIY project makes it all that much better. These guys aren’t afraid to get down and dirty! And they certainly had their way with the spot once it was time to rip.

„This collection features custom colorways of the Cambridge and EVO 2.0,“ Lakai mentions in the caption. „Along with a special Bodega Tee illustrated by Cuba Skates art team, and a baseball jersey.“

A portion of proceeds from the collection will go straight to Cuba Skate to help fund upcoming projects, which is super rad, and I’m sure they’ll keep chipping away on that already epic DIY spot, too—a major win-win.

Cuba Skate is an awesome organization that provides locals with programs focusing on everything from youth development to international diplomacy to sustainability. They do a lot for their community—far beyond just skateboarding—and I think it’s awesome that Lakai partnered with them for this collection.

And the gear looks rad! Check it out here

Toy Machine Announces Georgia Martin as Their Newest Pro

Toy Machine surprised Georgia Martin last night—one day before their big Real Life Sucks premiere—by welcoming her into the pro ranks with her friends, family and teammates in attendance.

Georgia has been on a tear the last few years and her progression (and skating, just in general) really speaks for itself. Plus… getting the nod from Mr. Ed Templeton is nothing to take lightly. It’s a big deal having your name on a Toy Machine board! Congrats, Georgia!

Robert Neal, Ish Cepeda and Alex Midler Hit the Streets of Hong Kong in Davonte Jolly’s New Video

Hong Kong clearly has spots for days and Robert Neal, Ish Cepeda and Alex Midler recently got a taste of the terrain themselves in Davonte Jolly’s video, ‚From Hong Kong With Love‘. Looks like these dudes had a good time (on and off their boards). Peep the clip below!

The flatbar spot that Midler skates is an absolute bucket list spot. Anytime I see footage there I’m instantly jealous. I mean, I wouldn’t be able to skate it the same way, but even just seeing it in real life would be unreal.

That’s one of those spots that makes you scratch your head and wonder, „Why was this built… if not for skateboarding?“ Bizarre. But hey—the answer to that question hardly matters! It’s there, and it’s ours for the taking.

Besides that, it looks like there was plenty of marble ledges to go around and some classic handrails and street spots thrown in for good measure. Even when these dudes are just cruising around having fun, they’re staying productive.

It’s nice to see this squad out there living their best lives, too. Why shouldn’t they? Traveling the world with your friends, stacking clips, eating good food… I’m a few seconds away from hitting the group chat and booking a plane ticket myself. Way to keep the dream alive, boys! Thanks for the postcard.
