Get In the Van: Santa Cruz Hits the Streets in 2024 Japan Tour Video

I hate playing favorites, but I’m a huge fan of Winkowski and Dressen. Seeing them rip in this clip got me so hyped. Dressen has been bringing the stoke for decades, inspiring multiple generations, and he still refuses to slow down. And every time Winkowski steps on his board, I can’t take my eyes off him—you just never know what this dude is about to deliver!
That said, Tom Asta, Maurio McCoy, Rob Pace, Taiga Nagai, and Rei Takazawa provide the perfect contrast, each ripping in their own unique way. With a squad this productive, you can always expect great things. From the streets to the demos, this trip looked like a memorable one for everyone involved.
On the heels of that, I can only imagine how stoked all the kids at the demos were. Trips like these only come around so often, you know? Meeting the pros, watching them skate, getting to hang and interact with them… that’s a huge deal! Memories like that are bound to last forever. Those smiles say more than words ever could.
