Milton Martinez Returns to Argentina to Revisit His Humble Beginnings in New ‘Skate Tales’ Episode

In the latest episode of Red Bull’s ‚Skate Tales‘, Madars Apse takes Milton Martinez back to where it all began—the streets of Argentina. Milton’s story is super inspiring, pretty wild and definitely worth the watch! Settle in and press play.

I think all skaters would agree that this beloved little hobby of ours can certainly be described as a passion, but for Milton, it’s a straight up family legacy! In case you didn’t know, Milton was basically born on a board, growing up inside his parents‘ skate shop in Mar del Plata. His dad (Tatu) is unarguably Argentinian skateboarding royalty, and the apple obviously didn’t fall far from the tree.

But as we learn in the episode, the small town Milton grew up in was unfortunately no place to establish a proper career in skateboarding. So he made the move to the US (despite hardly knowing any English) and never looked back!

Safe to say, that decision changed everything for Milton (and his family) in all the best ways. Since he arrived, Milton’s career has absolutely exploded and he’s undeniably one of the heaviest hitters out there these days. He’s done tricks and skated spots most skateboarders wouldn’t even dare to imagine and continues to blow minds with every video part (shoot, and even random IG clips) he drops.

Most importantly, it’s just so rad hearing his mom and dad tell their stories and share their experiences. Full speed ahead! If you still haven’t pressed play, what are you waiting for? Good luck keeping up with this maniac.
