Welcome to Bommys

Myles Willard skates, Chris Thiessen films, and we get a ripping VX1000 video part

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen a VX-helmed masterpiece from our former video director Chris Thiessen, but seeing his sun-drenched, unmistakeable VX colors are a sight for sore eyes. This time, Thiessen has his death lens fixed on East Coast transplant Myles Willard, flexing his all terrain skills across the greater Los Angeles area. Short and sweet, run it up.

„Myles Willard VX1000 part | Video by Chris Thiessen | Sony VX1000 (Japan model) | Sony Premium mini DV tapes | Greater Los Angeles County 2024

No real description from Thiessen either, other than the specific Sony VX model and DV tape brand.

These two mine all kinds of lesser-seen back alley spots, wallrides and quick-footed two-piece gems. The music fits Myles‘ speedy, lanky style. Thiessen’s editing style is always fun to watch.

Thiessen’s always had a keen eye on the stylish ones we all want to see video parts from. Just check his master work in TransWorld full length videos Substance and Riddles in Mathematics.
