Watch Cameron Fraser’s Epic Full-Length ‚Arcadia‘ Online Now

Cameron Fraser’s impressively epic full-length video ‚Arcadia‘ is now streaming online for the first time. In case you missed this banger last year, settle in and indulge for 30 minutes of Aussie ripping. Seriously…it’s super good. Take a look:

With parts from local Aussie rippers: Corey Young, Jae Overton, Karl Dorman, Dean Palmer and Sean Ryan, and the fantastic vision of Cameron Fraser behind the lens and in the editing room, this video is much more than a random indie skate video. Shoot, a decade or so ago—if this was a DVD in my collection—I would’ve had this on repeat as much as any other skate vid.

Fraser has an eye for skateboarding, filming and editing, that’s for sure. The video is reminiscent of so many iconic classics, but at the same time, the way he adds his own personal touch is really easy on the eyes. All the architecture shots. All the lifestyle. Consider me engaged. Very Alien-Habitat-early Transworld-esque, if you ask me.

The attention to detail is real. The consistency is on point. The soundtrack rules. And the skating speaks for itself. Great video from start to finish! Find the time to watch the whole thing today. When is the last time you watched a proper full-length?

Mike Sassano’s ‘PFP6’ Video from New York is now online

Mike Sassano and his crew out of Westchester, New York just put out the sixth installment of their lauded PFP video series. It’s a radical ride from start to finish featuring Marcus Eagel, Andrew Singh, Brandon Gironda, Paul Hintz and Mike Bart. Give it a proper viewing:

Mike and a good chunk of this crew blessed us with the Borough Hall 411-style Spot Check last year:

Rodrigo TX, Miles Silvas, and a Heavy Crew Provide in adidas Skateboarding’s Latest Video, ‚FORMA BRASA‘

Straight from the streets of São Paulo, the adidas global and local teams shine together in the Three Stripes latest video offering, „FORMA BRASA“ hyping up the 2024 Brazil Skateboarding Collection.

I’ll just say it since we’re all thinking it—Rodrigo TX is looking as good as ever on the board. It was a straight up breath of fresh air seeing him get down in this edit. But that doesn’t mean Gui Silva, Thiago Neves, Vitória Mendonça, Akira Shiroma, Daniel Marques, Breno Franco, Felipe Gustavo, Kevin White and Miles Silvas didn’t contribute plenty themselves.

„Featuring original artwork by Brazilian artist Criola and drawing inspiration from Brazil’s vibrant cultural diversity, heritage, and natural world, the collection takes cues from a legacy in sport while nodding to skateboarding’s roots,“ adidas says.

The gear looks good. The squad is on fire. The streets of São Paulo provided yet again. Get a closer look at the full 2024 Brazil Skateboarding Collection (available now) at adidas.com/skateboarding.

14 Year Old Coco Yoshizawa Wins Olympic Gold in Women’s Skateboard Street

Women’s Skateboard Street today in Paris was a heated battle under the Parisienne sun–a far cry from yesterday’s rain-out. At the end of the finals, it was a group of teenagers holding medals. Japan’s Coco Yoshizawa took the Gold, followed by Liz Akama with Silver, and Rayssa Leal with Bronze.

Believe it or not, the average podium age is 15–feel old yet?

Coco put down a wild bigspin flip to frontside boardslide early on to put on top with points. After the deal had been sealed, she still had one more attempt, the „victory lap,“ and she laid down a perfect frontside hurricane to straight down the big rail. Congrats Coco, we’ll be seeing you in many more Olympic Games to come.

Mens Olympic Street Skateboarding Rained Out In Paris

Not what you’d expect to hear from the Summer Games in Paris, but yesterday Mens Street Skateboarding got rained out in Paris, France. The rain even cancelled a practice day on Friday. The event has since been rescheduled to Monday, July 29.

Some of the competing pros like Chris Joslin and Tom Schaar did find some dry ‚crete to practice on (peep John Nicholson’s IG stories).

We’ll be tuning in tomorrow to see who takes home Street medals.
