Polar’s New Video ‚Everything Is Normal‘ Is an Absolute Must Watch

The skating. The filming. The editing. All of it! Polar’s new video „EVERYTHING IS NORMAL“ is truly an instant classic. These dudes can do no wrong. From the first clip of Boserio slamming to the final seconds of the ending, the only problem is that it leaves us wanting more.

Because the video is „age-restricted“ on YouTube, you can only watch it there. But since you’re here, peep the trailer above for a little taste and click over to the Polar YouTube channel and watch the full video. Consider it an extra little treat from the Polar squad for Go Skateboarding Day.

And just FYI, the gang’s all here: Kiki Kakitani, Shin Sanbongi, Emile Laurent, David Stenström, Oskar Rozenberg, Hjalte Halberg, Paul Grund, Dane Brady, Aaron Herrington, Pontus Alv, Jamie Platt, Nick Boserio and more!

There are so many random little nuggets all throughout the video, you’ll definitely need to watch it a few times to fully digest it all. The vibes are infectious nonetheless. Another banger!

New Balance and Museum Join Forces on Exclusive 272 Collab Shoe

New Balance Numeric and Museum recently joined forces on a limited, cardboard inspired, multi-layered 272 silhouette.

The shoes feature tear-off panels that reveal hidden details, which isn’t something you typically see, and look like they’ll be ready to rip right out of the box. Get a closer look below.

New Balance says the shoes are, „part surrealist art project, part functional skate shoe, featuring tear-off panels that reveal hidden details, and a packaging tape inspired outsole.“

Personally, I’m backing the corduroy and I’ve always been a fan of the 272, just in general. And with Museum founder (and of course, ripping skateboarder) Tom Karangelov steering the ship, these things are bound to skate as well as they look.

The shoes are available now on the Museum site and select shops across the country now. You can check them here!

Watch: Primitive Just Dropped Dylan Jaeb’s Unmastered ‚DAYDREAM‘ Clips

Dylan Jaeb is unarguably one of the heaviest ams out at the moment. Style, skill, taste—he has it all (and then some). And even though he makes everything look way too easy, some of these battles from his mind-melting ‚DAYDREAM‘ part really add an extra layer of respect to his process. Get comfy and dive in. These raw clips are heavy! Take a look:

His ‚DAYDREAM‘ part really solidified him as one of the top amateurs in the game right now and these unmastered clips really prove that notion without debate. Even his bails are stylish. Primitive—when are you guys going to put this dude’s name on a board!

Call me a broken record, but I’ve been a fan of Dylan’s skating since he was riding Zero boards at Poods Park, and I’ll never get tired of saying it. On and off the board, he’s just a solid human. We need more of that.

At any rate… watch the clips and experience some of these battles first hand. A lot of hard work went into making this part what it was, but that effort certainly doesn’t go unnoticed.

If you haven’t seen Dylan’s DAYDREAM part, check the video above (and while you’re there, you might as well watch the whole video). Detailed, but not robotic. Stylish, but not forced. Talented, but not cocky. What else can I say?

The dude fakie flipped Wallenburg. All in a day’s work.

Mañana Skate Shop Drops „TRE“ With Jaakko Ojanen, Ville Nyström and More of Finland’s Finest

Hailing from Tampere, Finland, the crew at Mañana skate shop are no strangers to bringing the heat. Their latest offering „TRE“ features full parts from Jaakko Ojanen and Ville Nyström, along with a buffet of clips peppered in from shop riders, friends and family alike. Everybody gets a slice! Take a look:

From start to finish, the video definitely has a consistent vibe of its own. You can tell they put a lot of hard work into this project. And I’m talking about the skating, sure, but the filming, editing and soundtrack are all on point as well.

Also, it goes without saying, but Jaakko is seriously in a realm of his own at this point. Pretty much every single trick in his part had me tripping out. Pure originality, without sacrificing an ounce of raw talent. You don’t always get both these days.

The entire crew killed it here. Can’t keep these dudes out of the streets!

World Skate Shares Course Previews in Budapest Ahead of Final Olympic Qualifying Event

Well, the stage is officially set for the final Olympic Qualifying event in Budapest where the world’s hungriest skateboarders will be going for broke this coming weekend, June 20-23 in hopes of repping their country at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Peep the course previews below, as well as info on where to watch this weekend.

As always, the talented team at CA Skateparks did a great job on the design and build of both courses. Consistency is key and it looks to me like everything is solid and ready to rip. This ain’t their first rodeo!

Honestly, there’s not a whole lot more I can say about either course. And I don’t mean that negatively or anything. These qualifying courses are simply designed with the skateboarders in mind and I mean, they always look fairly similar, all things considered. We’re talking about the Olympics here—everything has to be perfect.

Interested in watching the event this weekend? Check the schedule below. And good luck to all the skaters getting after it this weekend. The vibes are high out in Budapest as we inch closer to the big day.
