There might be room for pretty much everyone to have a voice in this wildly vast digital universe we all live in these days, but that doesn’t mean they’re all making a difference. That said, many folks do and have, but sometimes it’s hard to maintain.
Tony Hawk recently hopped on Instagram sharing the unfortunate news that his and Jason Ellis‘ podcast, ‚Hawk Vs. Wolf‘ will be on „indefinite hiatus as of 2025.“ Check the post and some words from Tony below explaining why.

Here’s the message from Tony:
„Our Hawk vs. Wolf podcast will be on indefinite hiatus as of 2025. The last few years of making these shows have been a transformative journey of insightful conversations, shared vulnerability and consistent laughter, and I am forever grateful to Jason for his time and support. I believe that we created something uniquely entertaining in a space rife with mediocrity. But it seems that we are unable to effectively navigate Big Algorithms in order to find a larger audience and the necessary growth to attract consistent sponsors. Jason and I devoted ourselves to make the best show we can, but it is not financially tenable in its current form. We tried, and kept trying even when it cost us our own money to produce the show. Thank you to everyone that listened, watched, liked and subscribed (and described) to HvW; all of your enjoyment and feedback encouraged us to push through the many challenges as we tried to find our way. It has been a privilege to host so many inspiring guests, and an honor to collaborate with Jason all these years.Perhaps a new audience will discover these recordings (through free will?) and give us hope for a comeback. Until then, the future is unwritten. We have one more show to drop. It is arguably our best yet.“

From famous actors and comedians, to legendary musicians, rappers, artists, athletes, influencers, major players in the action sports world, and of course, skateboarders, there was such an impressive variety of guests on Hawk Vs. Wolf through the years. You really never knew who to expect, which was honestly a big part of what made it so rad.
Although the list is way too long for me to mention, I will throw a few of our recent favorite episodes below in case you want to carve out some time or build yourself a little playlist.
As Tony mentioned, maybe they’ll be back? In the meantime, revisit some of these gems below and lurk their YouTube channel!
