Aussie ripper, Olympic Gold Medalist and all-around epic human, Arisa Trew has had quite an impressive year, to say the least. She’s rightfully become a household name, from Australia to The States and everywhere in between, and she’s just getting started.
She snagged gold on the world stage at the 2024 Paris Olympics, an extraordinary achievement by any measure. But the best part of this epic triumph? All she wanted to celebrate her victory was a cute little duck to call her own. Ha! Her friends at Vans understood the assignment perfectly, and well, here we are—the custom Sk8-Hi featuring an all-over duck print was born. Check it out:

„At just 14, Arisa Trew made history by becoming the first woman to land a 900. She followed that by taking home gold on the world stage, all in the same year. But the moment that truly stole hearts? A deal with her parents: win gold, get a duck,“ Vans mentions in the caption.
„Honoring Arisa’s incredible story and historic victory, Vans created a custom Sk8-Hi featuring an all-over duck print that nods to her fearless drive and playful spirit. Launching alongside her avatar debut in Vans World 2.0 on Roblox, this drop celebrates Arisa’s barrier-breaking approach to pushing skateboarding forward —one trick, and one duck, at a time.“

You certainly don’t need me to tell you how bright Arisa’s future is right now, but I will say it’s been so rad seeing he burst out of her bubble and become such a major figure in the skateboarding world. So well-deserved!
If I were you, I’d cop a pair of these simply based on the legacy this hungry up-and-comer is creating right now. And I think it’s safe to say this won’t be her only Vans model. At any rate, the story behind these are super special… and let’s be real—who doesn’t love ducks?!
Congrats to Arisa on everything she’s accomplished up to this point. The future is bright as can be. Skateboarding is in good hands because of people like Trew. Can’t wait to see what she hits us with in 2025!
