Carhartt WIP Skateboarding’s new video ‚PRECIOUS‘

Paris-based filmmaker Joaquim Bayle took the reigns on this video filmed mostley in NYC and LA. This is the first full length from Carhartt WIP since 2022’s Inside Out. A lot of yound talent in this one. Cue it up on the big screen in your place and enjoy.

Lockport, NY Skatepark is Nearing Completion

Lockport, a small city located north of Buffalo, NY, has some pretty exciting things coming its way, as the brand new skatepark being built is nearing the end of construction!

The skatepark, being built by the prestigious Grindline Skateparks, is replacing an old pre-fab ramp park, and will be a great addition to the community. The park started construction earlier in the fall of 2023 and is coming to the end of its construction phase. Check out the progress photos below!

Murfreesboro, TN To Get Nearly $1 Million Skatepark in 2024

The small city of Murfreesboro, TN has big things coming for it, as city council members approve a bid that deems the city to have a new skatepark built by this fall of 2024. And not only will it be some fresh concrete… it will be a lot of fresh concrete, as the park is costing just under $1 million to build, hinting that its size will be quite large!

The city is hiring New Line Skateparks for the build, a company out of Flordia that builds parks in the United States and Canada. They have not broken ground and there is no set date on when that will happen, but the city is hoping to have a new park up and built by the fall of 2024.

Wallriding the Berlin Wall and the world’s biggest quarterpipe: Sky High Skrilla Ep 4

In episode 4 the team linked up with Michael Mackrodt of Fishing Lines. Berliners, when’s the last time you saw that fountain having water in it? Well, let Leo Heinert turn lemons into lemonade with a slippery manual trick. Happening upon the historic Berlin Wall, the crew couldn’t help themselves to a few wallrides. The police showed up and weren’t too stoked. After that, how about happening upon a big, natural quarterpipe at the East Side Mall? Not a bad way to end another epic day in one of the world’s great skate cities.

David Gravette Rips the Philomath, OR Skatepark in the Latest “Worst Skatepark Ever” Video

For the past four years, Bronson Speed Co. has been creating a video series labeled “Worst Skatepark Ever” that follows David Gravette as he skates the crustiest, worst-flowing, and crumbling parks spanning the nation.

Not only does he make skating these parks look fun, he also makes them come alive in ways that don’t seem possible just by giving the park a quick glance. Check out what we mean by viewing the latest video in the series!

This crusty park is located in Philomath, Oregon, a tiny town south of Portland. But the good news… is that the city is actually working on a skatepark replacement project, currently working on funding! So this town with a skatepark considered so bad that it made this series, might have a bright future on its horizon.
