Etnies‘ „Paris Block Party 2024“ Video

In the latest episode of Red Bull’s ‚Skate Tales‘, Madars Apse takes Milton Martinez back to where it all began—the streets of Argentina. Milton’s story is super inspiring, pretty wild and definitely worth the watch! Settle in and press play.
I think all skaters would agree that this beloved little hobby of ours can certainly be described as a passion, but for Milton, it’s a straight up family legacy! In case you didn’t know, Milton was basically born on a board, growing up inside his parents‘ skate shop in Mar del Plata. His dad (Tatu) is unarguably Argentinian skateboarding royalty, and the apple obviously didn’t fall far from the tree.
But as we learn in the episode, the small town Milton grew up in was unfortunately no place to establish a proper career in skateboarding. So he made the move to the US (despite hardly knowing any English) and never looked back!
Safe to say, that decision changed everything for Milton (and his family) in all the best ways. Since he arrived, Milton’s career has absolutely exploded and he’s undeniably one of the heaviest hitters out there these days. He’s done tricks and skated spots most skateboarders wouldn’t even dare to imagine and continues to blow minds with every video part (shoot, and even random IG clips) he drops.
Most importantly, it’s just so rad hearing his mom and dad tell their stories and share their experiences. Full speed ahead! If you still haven’t pressed play, what are you waiting for? Good luck keeping up with this maniac.

Highly anticipated from filmer Daniel Wheatley for „Blanket,“ this video follows a young, ripping crew skating fresh spots from LA to London. But it’s not just the young bucks that are going to get you stoked, how about cameos from Scott Johnston, Alex Olson and Heath Kirchart? Yup.
Ripping parts from Mingus Gamble, Matlok Bennett Jones, Josh Pall and more tee up this 20-minute banger to be the most makes-you-want-to-skate video we’ve seen all year. Well done boys.
The trailer, back when we all thought the video would be called Blanket.

Skateboarding has gained so much popularity in recent decades that most kids getting into it these days probably don’t realize how much people used to downright hate it. Hey, I got my fair share of it growing up but the times are certainly changing.
Skateparks and the Olympics have definitely helped shift that perception, along with countless other things, but that doesn’t mean random disputes like this little debacle (reported on by Fox 5) involving pro skater, Evandro Mancha and his backyard vert ramp don’t still linger to this day. Take a look:
I mean, I’m not here to argue, but the ramp has been there for over a decade. If any of the folks complaining in court (or elsewhere) moved to the neighborhood anytime within the past 10 years or less, well, they sort of knew what they were getting themselves into, right? It’s like moving to a bustling downtown and complaining about the noise. Bruh.
Mancha is a well-respected skateboarder in the community nonetheless and I’m super stoked that he won this silly dispute. Anyone who knows him simply knows he’s the best dude—full of happiness and positivity—so I’d say this win was well deserved. He might have a few more rules and regulations to deal with now, but it would’ve been heartbreaking to see that ramp destroyed or removed.

Big ups to Mancha and all his friends, family and local skaters who showed up for him in court. Skateboarders will always support skateboarders and that effort will never go unnoticed.
Sure, trash day might be a bit more awkward now—„Hey, neighbor!“—but all’s well that ends well. Sounds to me like a celebratory session is in order!

Hitting skate shop walls now, adidas recently shared Lucas Puig’s latest signature silhouette—the Puig Indoor—in a slimmed-down, simplified version featuring a vulcanized construction that „prioritizes board feel and provides maximum control where it counts.“ Get a closer look below:
