If you’ve ever been to a Tincan Skatelore trivia night in New York, these two are almost always on the winning team. The people offscreen we kept referring to were none other than Jovi Bathemess and Pat Stiener.

Podus Operandi: We watched 2003’s Free Your Mind

We sat down once again with Steve and Mitch with the idea to watch a classic TWS video and „live-critique“ it. Wanna know who was in those nameless montages? You gotta stick around for the credits. It was a time of 16mm film montages, lots of bums and the TransWorld video with just three parts. Tap in to hear who the fourth part was supposed to be, where the taxi came from and where it ended up, a little-known TWS T-shirt that was made from this video and more.

Wallriding the Berlin Wall and the world’s biggest quarterpipe: Sky High Skrilla Ep 4

In episode 4 the team linked up with Michael Mackrodt of Fishing Lines. Berliners, when’s the last time you saw that fountain having water in it? Well, let Leo Heinert turn lemons into lemonade with a slippery manual trick. Happening upon the historic Berlin Wall, the crew couldn’t help themselves to a few wallrides. The police showed up and weren’t too stoked. After that, how about happening upon a big, natural quarterpipe at the East Side Mall? Not a bad way to end another epic day in one of the world’s great skate cities.

Brain Floss: San Francisco native photographer Andrew „Ando“ Caulfield

You most likely know Andrew Caulfield better by his nickname „Ando.“ He’s been skating and photographing San Francisco his whole life, and a big chunk of that was due to his years working at the famous FTC skateshop. His photography encompasses everything from raw SF street skating to the perfect skate spots of Barcelona, celebrities and policitians, SF’s unruly homeless and more from coast to coast. We caught up with Ando for a somewhat average day in the life in his hometown of SF to see some never-been-seen gems of his work.
